We had an amazing romantic getaway! the lodge was beautifully decorated and the hot tub was absolutely awesome. the large flat screen TVs in both the lounge and bedroom were a great bonus. We loved the peaceful and quiet surroundings, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Plus, the lodge faced two large enclosed fields with stunning views. It was a perfect location for our romantic escape.
That we couldn't find a spare quilt for the sofa bed. We ended up buying one, but there were plenty of blankets available.

The location of the accommodation was great, being close to Falkirk and within easy reach of Stirling and Glasgow. This made it convenient for day trips and exploring the area. the host was also very friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. We appreciated the welcome basket with fresh milk, orange juice, cereals, and homemade Scotch pancakes. the hot tub was a fantastic addition and our kids had a blast. They also loved having access to the field and discovering the rope swing. the view from our accommodation was breathtaking and provided a peaceful atmosphere.
On arrival, we found that there were no cleaning products provided, which meant we had to go out and buy them ourselves. the fridge in the accommodation was not working and it took some time for the replacement to arrive.

The homemade pancakes and farm fresh eggs were absolutely delicious. The views were stunning and the chalet was well equipped, with a great bit of decking to sit and enjoy the sun all day. The hot tub was amazing for relaxing in the evenings. The location was perfect - remote and deep in the countryside, yet only a 15-minute drive to a large supermarket and the nearby town. The host was friendly and gave great recommendations for nearby attractions, like the Harry Potter shop. Can't wait to visit again!
One minor inconvenience was the lack of a gate on the patio to keep our dog in at night. It would have been nice to have a gate to prevent him from wandering off into the fields.

We had a fantastic stay at Pirnie Lodge Holiday Lets. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to nearby towns and attractions. Our chalet, Poppy's Place, was cozy and well-equipped, and the hot tub was a real highlight. We were impressed with the warm welcome from our host, Anne, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The homemade pancakes and farm-fresh eggs provided in our welcome pack were a delicious touch. We also appreciated the thoughtful gestures, like Anne offering to pay for our takeaway and surprising us with a special gift for our anniversary. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to return!
The double bed in our chalet was a bit small for larger individuals, but the living room sofa bed provided a comfortable alternative. The fridge was also on the smaller side, so it may not be suitable for longer stays.
